The One Where He Called Anyway

What happens when you take a step of faith and still feel like you’re sinking?

In this message from our Redeemer and Friend series, we revisit one of the most familiar scenes in the Gospels, but we slow it down and pay attention to what it reveals about Jesus in the middle of instability. The wind is strong, the water is unsteady, and the disciples are exhausted. It is not a calm, polished moment. It is chaotic and human. And right there, Jesus shows us something about His character that reshapes how we understand faith, failure, and rescue.

This is not about trying harder or holding on tighter. It is about who Jesus is when your strength runs thin and your confidence wavers. We look at how He speaks, how He reaches, and how He remains present even after the crisis point passes. The deeper question becomes less about the storm and more about who is with you in it.
